We’ve catered for some amazing corporate events over the years—but this one was truly something special. In August 2023, the Little Red Pizza Co. team had the incredible honour of providing corporate catering at the Tower of London, serving none other than the Yeoman Warders (affectionately known as the Beefeaters) and their families during a private summer celebration.
It was an unforgettable day filled with history, hospitality, and (of course) plenty of wood-fired pizza, right in one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks.
Catering for the Beefeaters – A Historic Honour
Set within the grounds of the Tower itself, this was far beyond your typical corporate event. The Beefeaters and their families gathered for a summer celebration, and we were proud to serve up our signature wood-fired pizza menu, cooked live on-site with our mobile catering setup. The feedback was phenomenal—everyone from the youngest guests to the longest-serving Yeoman Warders left full, happy, and raving about the food.
Despite this being far outside our usual Manchester & Cheshire catchment area, we’re always willing to travel nationwide for the right event—and this one was absolutely worth it.
A Day to Remember: Touring the Tower & The Keys Pub
Alongside catering, we were lucky enough to be given a private behind-the-scenes tour of the Tower of London, including access to The Keys Pub, the exclusive on-site pub reserved for Tower residents and staff.
We also witnessed the legendary Ceremony of the Keys, a 700-year-old nightly tradition where the Tower is ceremonially locked up. It was an honour to be part of such a historic moment in such a significant place.
